Guest product review: Norwex
UPDATE: Congratulations to Tara-Lynn Jackson for winning our giveaway!
When Carly asked me to do a review for Norwex cleaning products I was thrilled! I consider myself to be a certified germaphobe, so I never reject somebody basically asking me to clean my house.
One night while puting Ayven to bed I was filling up his humidifier and noticed it needed a cleaning. Because of the cold steam it has the tendency to create a build up of mildew and other sorts of water remnants.

Before

After
I pulled out the Enviro Cloth and gave the humidifier a once-over wipe and the machine looked brand new. I couldn’t believe how simple it was and loved how I removed everything safely without any toxins or soaps. This cloth also worked wonders on a pair of Ayven’s impossible-to-clean shoes.
I tackled dusting our bedroom blinds with the Antibac Dust Mitt and not only noticed the large amount of dust the mitt picked up but thoroughly enjoyed how short-people friendly it was because the dust stuck firmly to the mitt instead of clumping up and falling down on me as I reached up high.

Usually I smirk and avoid our bedroom mirror, as it is prone to having bits of paper towel get stuck in between the small glass tiles, but with the window cloth I was able to wipe away any finger prints or smudges, chemical and paper towel free!
Norwex offers a variety of toxin and chemical free products, including their Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent which I used as a stain remover on a couple of Ayven’s daycare shirts and to wash a load of his laundry
It’s always a pleasure to provide a clean home, but even more satisfying is knowing you are doing so without harmful toxins and chemicals interfering with our environment, and most definitely our children.
Carly note: Oshawa mom Angela Quick provided the products, and sells Norwex via www.healthiergreeneryou.com. She has given us a fabulous package to give away today: A Norwex Clean Pack which includes one of each of the following: Antibac Enviro Cloth, Antibac Window Cloth, and Antibac Dust Mitt.
Visit Angela’s site, and leave a comment with why chemical-free cleaning is important to your family. We’ll pick a winner in the next few days. Good luck, and thanks to our germaphobe Krystle for the review!
