Lucy kept calling me to come into the living room on Sunday while I was arm deep in making muffins. I responded back asking what she needed, but she was unnervingly quiet.
When my curiosity got the better of me and the muffins were in the oven, I found this.
They wrapped themselves up, and called it Sunday Sister Snuggles.

When they are into each other, the house hums with love and glittery stars in the sky and giggles and mischievous rummaging in the closets and unicorns pooping rainbow flowers. Sunday was a delicious day like this, where they picked out each other’s clothes, ate side-by-side at the table, brushed each other’s teeth, read books on the bed, played computer games squeezed into the same chair and snickered when they presented themselves to me with their snowpants on on top of their coats.
Later that night Lucy took Green Bunny for an innocent walk down the hallway, Alice’s wails pierced the night sky and the equilibrium in our world was restored.
