Uxbridge Town Talk
5th January 2010
Several months ago, I met Kirsty in real life after kinda stalking her for a few years. Over drinks with a bunch of fellow local female entrepreneurs, we got the idea to do a magazine. Then we got all ridiculous, and put one out in seven weeks, and almost killed ourselves and our families. Then we did it again. And last month shipped out issue three of Uxbridge Town Talk.
This is what I’ve been doing since late August. It is the hardest, most rewarding work I’ve ever done. It is the embodiment of everything I stand for: Supporting, living and shopping local, community spirit, people and places. It is what keeps Eric up at night, worrying about money. It is my dream come true.

Very Nice. Do you use InDesign?
I’m a Desktop Publisher myself so things like this excite me too. Magazines are a pain in the butt at times, but can be rewarding and a lot of fun!
If you ever need any help, give me a shout.
Congratulations and Good Luck on your new endeavour…….and Happy New Year………
Congrats Carly, looks great. Are there certain places where you can pick up the latest issue?
