Snip-snip, hooray!

Jen O. emailed yesterday asking if we were planning any sort of memorial for Eric’s fertility. I snorted.
He put on his appropriately emblazoned Chillin’ t-shirt and baggy green fatigue workout pants for the day. Although he’s not looking forward to the procedure itself, I know he’s eagerly anticipating a weekend of having his feet up and hiding out in the man cave with a bag of frozen peas (I swear the cashier at the grocery store yesterday knew, as I tossed, like, five bags on the conveyer belt…).
Wish us (well, him) luck today.

Funny enough… our family is a wee bit sick!
My brother-in-law was going for the snip snip and we had a Vasectomy BBQ for him! We had penis shaped pasta salad, sausages, corn of the cob.. all looong foods ha ha.
A huge penis shaped cake… penis shaped straws from the sex store… homemade balloons that included two round balloons and one long one tied together in a bunch.
Did I mention my family was sick?
Love the BBQ idea… sooooooooo fun!
My hubby has been there done that & it wasn’t at all bad… I was in the room for the procedure so saw first hand that what us ladies go through is well… you get my drift
. Keep those peas on and do the full weekend of true resting. Thinking of you Eric!
So, how’d it go?
How is Eric feeling?
Eric is quite flattered so many women are interested in his man bits. It was a little weird to be updating so many friends and family this weekend, too!
He’s doing well. Aching and a little sore (and colourful! The bruising is very festive.), but certainly not dying. He is working from home today to have one more day of baggy pants and sitting.
The procedure itself was done in 20 minutes. We quite enjoyed the drive and our time together without the girls!
Well tell him his man bits are probably all that more appealing now that they’re swollen – good for his ego – have him parade around the mall for a bit and see how many girls follow him .. !
Did you take him to the Gentle Vasectomy CLinic in Peterborough? ha ha ha
We sure did, Cheryl! And loved it. Well…we loved the service etc.
