Girl power

This morning I got out of the shower, and followed Eric and Lucy’s voices to her room.
I found my husband with a pink and purple ribbon tiara on his head, and a half nekkid doll in his arms. He was playing princess while changing Baby Bubba’s diaper.
I look at him with raised eyebrows, a smirk on my face.
“Yeah, this is a high point for my masculinity, isn’t it?” he said dryly.
When I went in with the camera a few minutes later, Eric tore the tiara off his head. “Don’t even think about it,” he growled with a grin. Fine. I can promise you, however, that the expression on his face was much like this — circa The Cottage 2001 — when he begrudgingly let me bedazzle his hair:

OH MY GOSH, LOVE THIS POST! lol. Eric, my DH just had a good laugh at you and your bedazzled state, HOWEVER he has also been known to sport our daughters array of jewels, hats, boa, and well the list goes on. Wear it proud Daddy! There is something about a guy that can pretend play with their daughers… very endearing!
Bahahaha…I am SO looking forward to this for my hubby as our daughter grows up. How a little girl can just melt a daddy’s heart. Must remember to keep a camera handy to capture the magic
