Day 5: 29 Days of the Everyday

My mom, Lucy’s Nana, taught her how to drink the juice from the bottom of bowls. Lucy now sssslurrrps — or attempts to slurp — up any real (milk from cereal, juice from canned fruit) or perceived (tomato sauce, puffed wheat) liquid from any and every bowl. Right before lifting the rim to her lips, she says, “Mmmmm, juice!”

I find this incredibly ironic, as I remember drinking cereal milk out of my bowl all the time growing up (cereal = one of my top foods ever) and getting in crap for it. My mom always told me it was rude.

Guess grandparents have earned the right, hmmm?

Many, many years from now just think of all the fun you will have with Lucy’s kids. The spoiling does not stop with Grandparents though think of all the things that she will get from her Aunt and Uncles.

You would all think that my mom is just terrible. She has been giving Jackson his own cup of coffee since he was 3 years old!
They sit and sip together and enjoy Gramma time! UGH!
