Happy Birthday!
30th May 2007
We can’t wait to see you two this weekend. There will be cake.
Although it won’t be near as impressive or hilarious as this one, crafted with love by Uncle Marky.

It was shaping up to be such a nice cake – then it all fell apart when removing it from the pan. Oh the humanity!
Thank you Carly and Lucy for the birthday wishes.
As for the Cake, it was made lovingly by my husband and I could not love it more. Its better than any store bought one he could have gotten me cause he took the time to make it. Even tho its in pieces it tastes really good. Great job Honey.
I’m just jealous the other McDougall son has never made me a cake…
I gave you a 7 day birthday this year and now you’re giving me grief because I didn’t make you a crappy-looking cake? Geez…I’ll never win.
i guess next year it will be 7 days of treasures AND a home-made cake .. Lucy will be old enough to help, but I doubt she’ll do any clean up
I’m adding my birthday wishes to the two birthday gals. And thanks to my two wonderful nephews for giving me a good laugh today. Mark, your cake is memorable. I’m sure a photo of it will end up in one of Jenns’ scrapbooks. Hope everyone is having a good day!!
Love to all…
*sigh* Sometimes I should just keep my mouth shut lest I get things lobbed in my pie hole.
I love how even the frowny face is all mangled. As long as it tasted good, and he put the effort in, it doesn’t matter what it looks like.
Here’s a tip coming straight from my mom and sister(who are professional cake decorators): If you mess up the cake, just use more icing to conceal it. The icing is the best part anyway.
