And Eric came down from the heavens and created a kick ass birthday in 7 days

Lucy is home with me today (who’s bright idea was that??) and is currently trying to use my slippered foot as a step stool to climb my leg so she can play with the mouse. So posting abilities are, well, nill.

I went downstairs this morning and Eric had my Golden Girls ready. Sweet! But…the card said “Happy Birthday Day 1″. Hmmmm???

Since last year my birthday kinda sucked rocks (Lucy wasn’t even a month old, was only sleeping for two hour bursts and my breasts were on fire), Eric’s decided to give me a week of birthday goodness! Each day I’m getting a surprise.

I’m glad GG came today, because it gives me something to look forward to tonight. Not only does the car have to go in for Drive Clean, but the breaks started grinding on Eric on the way home from work last night. At least the car is already going in the shop, and hopefully they can fix everything in one shot.

I’m seeing my mom, too, which is always a treat, especially today.

Apparently emptying a draw of office supplies (envelopes! coin rollers! paper! blank DVD tower!) has lost its lustre, so I must run. Have a great day, y’all!
