-26 weeks, or 6.5 months
-next week is the start of the third trimester, AKA the end is near
-we’re signed up for birth classes at the Ajax hospital in January, where they will hopefully tell me of some magic way to give birth that does not include the Ring of Fire
-this Saturday I go for a gestational diabetes test, which includes drinking some mock orange drink and having my blood drawn twice. I hope all the Rockets and cookies I’ve been eating do not show up in their own category
-spending three hours half bent over a table spreading sparkles on ceramics is not fun when you have a bag o’ baby attached to your front
-foot massages from husbands really do work. Just ignore the "Eew, I have to go wash my hands now" comment that follows
-Fur Face was curled around my belly this weekend when Miss Kicky Pants gave him a little boot. He whipped his head down and looked as if to say, "WTF?"
-my mom calls baby Petunia. This is nowhere near her real name, but is very cute. Better than the Parasite, the family agrees. I do not
-I am constantly hungry. When I get up to go pee in the middle of the night, I’m thinking about what to eat for breakfast.
-also: gassy
-feeling the baby squirm, twitch, kick and poke is, I’m sorry, just freaky. But really cool, too
